Too Many Opinions = Confusion!

You're department is on a tight deadline and budget. You have one week to conceptualize and execute a 36-page layout for a very important client. Your design team has created 2 layout options wants a neighboring department's opinion on simple tweaks. Before you know it, your 2 solid layout designs have been completely redesigned, and you now have 3 days to revamp this project for the clients initial review.

What happened? It was only supposed to be simple tweaks (headline styles, table-of-contents design, etc.). The answer…too many cooks in the kitchen. When looking for simple opinions, try printing only the items you want input on, or employ 1 reliable colleague with a good eye and keep it simple.

Time Is Money!
